Future

Remember the ever famous line of our national hero “Kabataan ang pagasa nang bayan”, a quote that has been up lifting our spirits for decades or perhaps a century or more. That despite of all the tragedies and endless political crisis in our country there is still hope, in which us the youth holds it. But come to think of it, are we really the hope, when in fact as early as a youth we are dealing in our own landscape that seems to grasp us and can’t escape. I’m talking about our own dilemmas as youth like engaging into pre-marital sex, broken families, teenage pregnancy, addiction and some of those self problems making us dysfunctional to perform our role in society, since we are preoccupied with these dilemmas.

To become the hope of the future we must first plan of our own future. I know everyone has a dream and a sort of pictured their future but does your actions resembles to your plans? If you plan something then you should aligning your path towards it. Therefore, the second one is put things into actions. What if problems occur and you commit mistakes? As quotation would always remind us, there is sunshine after the rain. Learn from your mistakes and stand up for a new beginning. And that would be may last step, for whenever a person learns to accept his mistakes and imply them he will realize that no matter what happen he can always start and patch up things.

Life was never easy. We often hear people say life sucks and that’s the reality we have to deal with but no one says we can’t fix and make it better.

Our country maybe enlisted as one of the chaotic; hence we are called a third world country but we can change that, by simply doing our task and living our life with the best way we can. Perhaps, it would take another decade to put our country into progress but hence at least we can say to the future youth, the evolution of change started with us.
